Sony puts all the eggs in one basket with each new edition of its renowned flagship

Sony is one of the most leading brands of all Android smartphones and Xperia panorama Z series is always at the top when you get to choose the most complete terminal. The Sony Xperia Z was released in early 2013 during the CES show in Las Vegas, a stylish smartphone with advanced and waterproof performance. Later, in September of that year, the company renewed its high-end with the Sony Xperia Z1, an improved camera with the most complete edition. A few months later, in February 2014, became Sony Xperia Z2, the latest model that still adds more improvements to the camera and other aspects. Here we see the most striking differences between the three terminals of the Persia range to see the evolution.

The three terminals are large screen and high resolution, like all high end of the current scene. The Sony Xperia Z and Xperia Z1 share the same 5-inch diagonal and Full HD resolution, so that the density is 441 ppi in both cases. For its part, Sony Xperia Z2 grows to 5.2 inches and also has HD resolution, but in this case the density falls to 423 ppi. The three shares the Bravia Mobile Engine, but only the newer two feature TRILUMINOS system, which improves increasing the contrast and images optimize colors with X-Reality. Besides the Sony Xperia Z2 has a Live Colour LED panel, which achieves a more uniform and vivid colors without overloading the lighting throughout.

Sony released the design of Sony Xperia Z in early 2013 and since then has continued to focus on a very similar line, with slight changes. The design of the Xperia Z series stands out for its rectangular shape of sharp corners and the use of glass to cover their faces, a material that gives a sophisticated touch, but has the downside of that is too dirty to touch with your fingers.

They all have detailed aluminum power button, but only the last two have a metal frame that is appraised at its edges, achieving greater robustness and resistance falls. Speaking of resistance, they are resistant to water and dust, but the older model is the only one certified IP55/57, which means you can not dive more than a meter deep for half an hour. The Xperia Z1 and Z2 have the degree of protection IP55/58, extending the margin to 1.5 meters and also keep out dust particles smaller.

Sony is known for offering an advanced photographic experience on their smartphones, and logically the Xperia Z series is the one with the most cutting-edge systems. The Sony Xperia Z is the one that comes with the more modest photographic profile, but nevertheless shows a chest with a sensor Exmor RS 13 megapixel, full HD video recording and a front camera of 2 megapixels. With the Sony Xperia Z1 got a major leap in the camera, including a sensor 20.7 megapixel Exmor RS, which is also accompanied by a high quality G lens and advanced image processor (BIONZ).

In this case also record videos in FullHD and its front camera have 2 megapixels. The latest model keeps all these options, but adds a very interesting: the option to record videos in 4K resolution. However, it not only allows to record videos in one much larger size, but it also gives us the option of making videos in slow motion with the TimeShift function. Finally, aside from the technical differences, they share some features such as the stabilizer, LED flash, autofocus and Superior Auto Mode among others.

The power is an aspect that has improved with each new generation. The company began including a quad-core chip at 1.5 Ghz Sony Xperia Z, which improved after a 800 to 2.2 Ghz Snapdragon on Xperia Sony Z1. These two models have 2 Gb of RAM. Finally they raised the bar with the Sony Xperia Z2, wearing a Snapdragon 801 graphics chip with improved, more clock speed (2.3 GHz) and commitment 3Gb of RAM.

Despite the obvious climbing potential, Sony has not changed the internal capacity of its flagship over time, relying solely on a version of 16 GB capacity. The only difference here is that while the Sony Xperia Z accepts MicroSD cards of 32 GB, the other two models with an additional 64 units of Gb.

The photographic system of the Sony Xperia Z1 was a significant jump from the previous edition and the Sony Xperia Z2 has done it again, but only has focused on the section of the video. The three screens are fairly matched, but the brand has introduced new systems to improve image to get a better color on the Sony Xperia Z2, which also has the best view angles. How could it be otherwise l power will also increase gradually, but remain committed to providing a single version of 16 Gb Overall Series high-end Sony has it all to be considered a reference in the Android segment, both technically and exterior design.
