The advanced variety of HTC One Mini
For a time it is quite common to see how phone manufacturers launch compact versions of its most advanced smartphones. The idea of “mini flagship” is a response to the trend for large screens, which in many cases is reaching an excessive level. Almost all the high-end feature screens five inches or more, but with these smaller versions are intended to provide the same user experience in a smaller chassis.
HTC launched a device on this line last year, this is the HTC Mini One, younger brother of HTC One The company renewed its flagship recently with the launch of HTC One M8 therefore expected to also renew editing mini. The HTC One Mini 2 is official, but what differs from the previous model?
The mini terminals shall not escape the trend for large screens, just do it more discreetly. The HTC Mini One panel has a 4.3-inch diagonal, a fairly tight size but without becoming too compact. With the new edition HTC has decided to extend the diagonal to 4.5 inches, placing it at an intermediate level. What they share is the technology Super LCD 2 and resolution HD (1,280 x 720 pixels.) also has a sheet of Corning Gorilla Glass resistant, although the HTC One Mini 2 features the latest version (Corning Gorilla Glass 3).
The terminals take their design from the One HTC and HTC One M8 respectively, but should recognize that the HTC One Mini 2 has copied best the appearance of its older brother, while the Mini One HTC introduced a less solid plastic chassis. However, the design of both is quite similar, with a shape of curved lines and two speakers in the front stereo. The size and weight difference between the two is not much, but the HTC One Mini 2 than the previous model.
HTC has invested heavily in its system Ultrapixel, which advocates the introduction of larger pixels to capture more light, although it entails have less resolution. The HTC Mini One has a four megapixel sensor Ultrapixel, with a processor HTC imageCHIP 2 image stabilizer and intelligent flash with five levels of power. Also FullHD video recording and features a 1.6 megapixel front camera. The HTC One Mini 2 leaves the system Ultrapixel and commitment to a conventional sensor with thirteen megapixel resolution and construction BSI (for taking pictures in low light). Its lens has an aperture f/2.2, also records full HD videos and has LED flash. Its strong point within the profile photo is carrying a five megapixel front camera, with a way of improving for portraits or selfies.
The two terminals noted for their powerful front speakers, baptized as HTC BoomSound. Moreover, they have noise canceling for better listening calls even if background noise. The HTC One Mini comes with improved sound Beats Audio.
Both models integrate the same processor Snapdragon 400, consisting of four cores and 1 GB of RAM support. The chip of the HTC One Mini runs 1.4 Ghz while the new model makes it to 1.2 Ghz. They also agree on the internal memory, with a background of 16 Gb However only One HTC Mini 2 accepts cards MicroSD memory extension (128 GB maximum).
The HTC One Mini 2 out of series with Android 4.4 KitKat and also adds the interface HTC Sense 6, with many new features like gesture control or improved widget HTC BlinkFeed. The HTC One Mini recently updated to the latest installment of Android, but it has not yet received all-new HTC Sense 6, however it is expected to arrive soon. The two share the service package that includes Google applications like Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps, Google Drive or full voice assistant Google Now.
The connections section remains the same, with the only difference that HTC One Mini 2 carries an NFC chip that allows you to make payments between other options. The two models are connected to the Internet via mobile network 4G or 3G plus networks that support WiFi dual frequency. The system WiFi Hotspot allows you to create an access point to share the connection with another device, such as a computer or tablet. They also have DLNA, antenna GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, connector microUSB and headphone jack.
The HTC Mini One has a battery of 1,800 milliamps that can be turned thirteen hours in use and no less than 692 hours in standby mode or standby. The new HTC One Mini 2 ups the ante with a stack of 2,110 milliamps, but its in standby according to official data will be lower, namely 550 hours, while the time in use increased to 16 hours.
HTC has maintained a similar level between the two models of HTC One Mini range, but introduces interesting in this latest edition. The first thing they have done is increase the screen slightly, but keeping the HD resolution. The design of the HTC One Mini 2 is also best achieved when compared with the top model. Another change is that it’s been re-opt for a higher resolution camera with BSI system, so the images will have larger and have also introduced a slot MicroSD. The biggest advantage of HTC One Mini 2 is that it has the ultimate interface HTC Sense 6; hopefully soon launch an update for the older models.
